Update on my last miserable post... I shall put some healthy distance between me and him. I realize he's doing the same. We talk less now. Still feels painful but oh well. I do look forward for the day I can see him as just a friend. Nothing bad happened between us and we also only started as friends. We kinda developed feelings for each other at different times and he's already moved on. I only developed feelings later cause I never experienced being treated this well by other male friends. How many links to fetch per "Crawl" click. Kept small on purpose — this is a basic, deliberately slow crawler, not a bulk scraper.
Remove domain
Clears an entire domain out of the crawler — matches by plain substring against the domain name, no protocol needed (e.g. just "wikipedia" removes en.wikipedia.org, wikipedia.org, etc.). Removes every matching page, its search-index entry, and the site's sitemap-progress row.
Crawl
Picks random not-yet-crawled links and indexes each one (fetches it, weighs its keywords, and queues the links it finds on it). If the queue is empty, give it a starting URL below first.

Crawl this page, read all of its text, skip common words like "the"/"a", and build a weighted keyword list for it (most-repeated word = 1.0, others scaled down from there) — up to 500 keywords. Runs on the server the whole time a box below is switched ON — not tied to this page being open. Each box pages through Twitch with its own saved cursor and never re-stores something it's already collected. The boxes currently ON split the shared hourly budget evenly.

This server is a 2-vCPU burstable Lightsail instance: sustained load above its baseline

Default is 120/hr. 800 is Twitch's own API ceiling, not a safe sustained rate here —
running at 800 is what flattened the site on 9 Aug 2026.

Catalog Collectors
Games/DLC/Software are discovered separately (three real Steam calls, not one) so each has its own resumable last_appid cursor and its own progress. Once a category's catalog is fully paged, it stops itself and hands off to a periodic incremental sync (if_modified_since) instead of re-scanning the whole catalog.

Disallowing one hides it from the homepage, its owner's profile sidebar, and drops all of its songs from the main timeline — nothing is deleted, and the owner is never emailed about it. I Miss You
Twin automatic "I Miss You" campaigns — entirely server-side once ON; no admin/UI engagement is needed for them to actually fire at the scheduled times below. Same message every user already gets from the manual button, just with no links/URLs in it, sent about 10 seconds apart (jittered ±1-3s) to everyone with an email on file.
