Or buy a property, rent it out to cover the costs of the rental plus your monthly living expenses, but way below market price to drive the price of rentals down. almost no one is doing this either, they just get as much profit as they can, resulting in angry tenants and evictions. Yes, in the current situation, some tenants screw owners over and trash the place, but in thousands of cases property management companies charge exorbitant fees to move-outs for damages that don't exist, adding to the tenants debt, which throws fuel on the fire in this cycle.

Imagine buying foreclosures at auction and selling them back to the families who lost them at a rate they can afford. Literally no one does this. I've been in foreclosures where the family had to leave all their stuff and the house wasn't trashed, wasn't a drug house or something.

Once there was a kind of beauty in the steam rising from gutters like souls. Now it doesnt seem quite real. Maybe it never was. Outside of the repetitive feeds, the back up beeping, the pop-up interruptions, the crises -- there is something. Don't need to call it truth.

I am an animal. Leave me alone. Did I read the world like braille under my fingers? Sniff the burning on the wind? In places with no corners. Silent but not in a peaceful way -- air heavy, one or two birds not singing. A snake flees into the rocks. The trees are listening. Everything listens to the wildfires stampeding miles away. All the chatter and who's to blame mean nothing in translation. Did you live your purpose today? Did you feed, gather for the winter, map the route to water? Carry children on your back, keep them from the cliff's edge?

@gregsometimes Tumultuous things happen when there is no accountability. Systems become this big huge ball that rolls over everything -- more bills being past won't stop it but will add to it. Its the underlying mindset,,, that is propagated. Basically the same mindset that created itself -- one of consumption, exploitation, and profit vs victims trying to control

Slow apocalypses are the most insidious. A new law passed, the beginning of a creeping disease, entropy. Maybe these are things that aren't meant to be held together. But, invisible to our reliance on our eyes, new worlds burst into being all around us.
