there are a few things that aren't sitting right with me. for one, she told you that you were 'real' and 'next in line,' but seeing how the convo turned out, it feels like an empty promise. also, looking at the images you posted - they aren’t ai-generated at all and i don't see how they would be. if there’s a claim being made, we need actual proof and receipts, otherwise it’s just purely conjecture. if i’m wrong, i’d love for her to actually point out the specific 'ai-ish' aspects instead of just throwing around ungrounded accusations. not every image

users post is ai. it’s unfair and it makes us all suspect it’s just an excuse not to make us eligible for the nitro giveaway.

it’s alright if they can't give us nitro - that's how we find out about the site but it's not the reason we stay. no sensible person is going to pick nitro over their own mental well-being and feeling unsafe in a platform that claims to be welcoming. i understand the need for caution, but it shouldn't be paranoia where you keep throwing around accusations. this reflects as paranoia on the users themselves. people who got accused, or people acquainted with them, will feel scared to post out of fear of being permanently accused or banned.

the communication under your post was unprofessional, harsh, and slightly condescending in tone. the proper way would be to properly evaluate each image - if something looks off, alert the user and ask them to take it down instead of making false accusations and threatening a permban immediately. you can give multiple warnings or suspensions, but not a permban right away. goddammit, extreme threats won't make users feel safe. she completely ignored your reply even though mods are at the service of users, and she ignored you in dms at first. when she finally reacted, she didn't address your concerns,

she just repeated her previous words as if she wasn't listening.

and what’s this rule about 'attacking mods'? you weren't attacking. you were very professional, kind, and respectful while communicating concerns. are we just supposed to tolerate mistreatment just because they're mods? even other discord servers leave room to report mods to others in case of mistreatment. again with the threats. while i appreciate her kindness to me, i don't appreciate the treatment of others. it makes me hesitant to keep using the site because no nitro is worth it tbh. i thought this was a better community than twitter or bluesky, but i guess i judged too early lol.
