GTA 6 Pre-Order Bonuses and Digital Perks: What You Get and When

GTA 6’s pre-order bonuses are the Vintage Vice City Pack and, for digital orders, a free month of GTA+ — and you haven’t missed them: Rockstar and the console stores still give both to orders placed by , launch day. Short answer: Every GTA 6 pre-order or purchase before November 20, 2026 gets the Vintage Vice City Pack: a ’55 Vapid Stanier, an Ocean Beach garage, vintage outfits and hairstyles, and Tommy Vercetti-inspired weapon patterns. Digital orders on PlayStation Store or Microsoft Store also get one free month of GTA+ and a 9-day preload from November 10.

What are the GTA 6 pre-order bonuses?
GTA 6 has two pre-order bonuses: the Vintage Vice City Pack, which every pre-order gets, and one free month of GTA+, which comes with digital pre-orders on the PlayStation Store and the Microsoft Store. Rockstar Games’ official GTA VI editions page marks both “PRE-ORDER BONUS” on the Standard Edition and the Ultimate Edition alike.
A third GTA 6 pre-order perk isn’t called a bonus, but it’s the one you’ll notice on launch night: digital pre-orders can preload the game from November 10. PlayStation’s Grand Theft Auto VI page lists it as a “9-Day Pre-load” in both editions.
What’s in the Vintage Vice City Pack?
The Vintage Vice City Pack is a set of GTA 6 items that call back to Rockstar’s 2002 game Grand Theft Auto: Vice City. Push Square’s Stephen Tailby listed what Rockstar announced on :
- ’55 Vapid Stanier: a retro-style sedan.
- Ocean Beach garage: a garage in Vice City’s Ocean Beach.
- Vintage looks: vintage-style outfits and hairstyles for Jason and Lucia.
- Weapon patterns: patterns inspired by Tommy Vercetti, the hero of Grand Theft Auto: Vice City.
The Rockstar Store’s GTA VI page also lists an “Exclusive Weapon Pattern” among its pre-order items without describing it further, so we can’t say whether it’s anything beyond the Vintage Vice City Pack’s Tommy Vercetti patterns.
What does the free month of GTA+ give you?
The free month of GTA+ is one month of Rockstar’s paid membership for GTA Online, the online mode of GTA V — not a GTA 6 feature. The Xbox Store listing says plainly that Grand Theft Auto VI is a single-player experience
, and Rockstar hasn’t announced any GTA+ benefits inside GTA 6.
What the GTA+ month gets you today, as Insider Gaming’s Andrew Highton listed on November 2, 2026: a recurring GTA$500,000 deposit into your GTA Online account each month, Shark Cards with 15% bonus GTA$, free and discounted GTA Online vehicles, and Rockstar games to play in the GTA+ Games Library. What does the GTA 6 preload give pre-order buyers?
The GTA 6 preload lets a digital pre-order download the game before launch, so it’s ready the moment GTA 6 unlocks on November 19. The PS5 preload starts at midnight local time on November 10, and the Xbox preload at 12 am GMT on November 10 (7 pm Eastern on November 9), per Rockstar’s Newswire. PlayStation’s GTA VI page asks you to clear a minimum of 212GB of storage space

Who gets which GTA 6 pre-order bonus?
Digital orders of either GTA 6 edition get all three perks; code-in-box copies get the game and the Vintage Vice City Pack but not the GTA+ month; and the Ultimate Edition’s own items come only with the Ultimate Edition or its upgrade. Do code-in-box copies of GTA 6 get the pre-order bonus?
Yes, code-in-box copies of GTA 6 get the Vintage Vice City Pack, but not the free GTA+ month. The Rockstar Store says physical versions will only contain a download code inside the box
and that A disc will not be included in the box
; Rockstar Support’s pre-order details page says that one code covers both the game and the Vintage Vice City Pack. The GTA+ month is limited to digital versions in PlayStation’s GTA VI offer terms and on Rockstar Support’s GTA+ page.
The Rockstar Store marks its pack offer “while supplies last”, so if you buy a boxed GTA 6 from a shop, check that the box or the shop’s listing mentions the Vintage Vice City Pack.
Does the Ultimate Edition get extra pre-order bonuses?
No — the GTA 6 Ultimate Edition gets the same two pre-order bonuses as the Standard Edition, plus its own collection of items, which aren’t pre-order bonuses: they come with the Ultimate Edition whenever you buy it. Rockstar describes them this way:
Ultimate Edition bonuses are threaded across all aspects of Jason and Lucia’s story, with new items uncovered behind each chapter.
Rockstar’s editions page lists the Ultimate Edition items: the ’95 Grotti Cheetah, the Hawk and Little Morgan revolvers, personalized weapon variants, Vice City Style, Jason’s safehouse vehicles, a Ganado retro build, the Shitzu Squalo boat, the ’67 Vapid Dominator Buggy, Goodtime Gear and the Classic Car Collection, plus shops only Ultimate owners can use — the Rideout Customs and One-Eyed Willie’s mod shops, Sara’s Unisex Salon, the Stock 305 clothing store, the Electric Fang tattoo parlor and the PTT Youngin$ illegal goods store. The Ultimate Edition is digital-only, and Standard owners can add it later with the Ultimate Edition Upgrade on the Microsoft Store or the PlayStation Store.
When is the deadline for GTA 6 pre-order bonuses?
The deadline for GTA 6’s pre-order bonuses is the end of launch day, November 19, 2026: buy by then — a pre-order or a launch-day purchase — and you still get the Vintage Vice City Pack, plus the GTA+ month on a digital copy. From November 20, both are gone.
The three official stores word the GTA 6 cutoff slightly differently:

None of the GTA 6 store pages names a time zone for that cutoff, so don’t leave the purchase to the last hour of November 19.
How do you claim the free GTA+ month on PS5?
On PS5, you claim the free GTA+ month from its PlayStation Store product page after pre-ordering GTA 6, at no extra cost, any time up to March 31, 2027. PlayStation’s GTA VI offer terms give three steps:
- Pre-order or purchase GTA VI from PlayStation Store on or before November 19, 2026.
- Visit the GTA+ product page on PlayStation Store.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the transaction at no extra cost.
Sony’s terms add that the GTA+ month can be claimed by new, lapsed and existing subscribers at a time of their choosing
, that an existing subscriber’s month is added to their current subscription, and that it’s Limited to one redemption per account, regardless of additional purchases
— on the account that bought GTA 6. Then the month renews:
After one month, your membership will continue monthly at the regular monthly price until canceled.
To stop the PS5 GTA+ membership after the free month, cancel in Subscriptions Management in your PlayStation account settings before the next payment date.
How do you claim the free GTA+ month on Xbox Series X|S?
On Xbox Series X|S, you claim the free GTA+ month in the Microsoft Store’s Offers & credits section, within 180 days of placing your GTA 6 pre-order. The Xbox Store listing says You will receive a pop-up notification on your console when your GTA+ subscription month is available to redeem
; to find it yourself, open the Store, select your profile icon in the top left corner, and choose Offers & credits. It’s limited to one redemption per platform account.
Little truth every gamer knows: a free month is the easiest thing in the world to claim and the easiest thing in the world to forget to cancel — so pop a reminder in your phone the day you claim it.
The 180-day clock means the Xbox GTA+ deadline depends on the day you pre-ordered. Here’s our count next to PlayStation’s fixed date:

So an Xbox pre-order from the very first day has to claim its GTA+ month before Christmas 2026, while a PlayStation pre-order from the same day can wait until March 31, 2027. Like the PS5 offer, the Xbox GTA+ month renews at the regular monthly price until you cancel it.
When should you claim the GTA+ month?
Claim the free GTA+ month when you’ll actually play GTA Online or the GTA+ Games Library, not on the day you pre-order GTA 6: the month runs from the day you claim it, then renews at the regular price. On PS5 that can be any day up to March 31, 2027; on Xbox, any day before your own 180-day date in the table above. If you don’t plan to keep paying, set a reminder a few days before the free month ends.
When do the GTA 6 bonus items show up in the game?
Rockstar hasn’t said exactly when or where the Vintage Vice City Pack items appear in GTA 6. Insider Gaming wrote on November 2, 2026 that we don’t know when you get this content just yet
; for the Ultimate Edition, Rockstar’s own description says new items are uncovered behind each chapter
of Jason and Lucia’s story.

Can you cancel a GTA 6 pre-order and keep the bonuses?
No — cancelling a GTA 6 pre-order means giving up its bonuses too, and on PlayStation, once the preload has started, you can’t cancel at all. Each store has its own rules:
- PlayStation Store: PlayStation Support’s pre-order cancellation page says that if you paid more than 14 days before release,
You can cancel any time up to the release date if you have not started to download the main part of the pre-order content.
If you paid within 14 days of release, you can cancel up to 14 days after ordering, again only before the download starts. Sony adds that extra content which came with a pre-order stops working if you cancel, and that auto-downloads can start the download for you. To cancel, you contact PlayStation Support. - Microsoft Store: Microsoft’s pre-orders page says
You can cancel any pre-order online
, from your order history. Microsoft may charge a cardup to 10 days before the release date
(money already in your Microsoft account is charged right away), and a pre-order cancelled after billing but before release is processed as a refund.
Is it worth pre-ordering GTA 6 for the bonuses?
Pre-order GTA 6 if you want it ready the second it unlocks: the 9-day preload is the perk that changes your launch night. The bonuses themselves don’t need an early order, because buying any time up to November 19 gets the same Vintage Vice City Pack and, for a digital copy, the same GTA+ month.
The Vintage Vice City Pack adds a car, a garage, outfits, hairstyles and weapon patterns to GTA 6, and the GTA+ month is for GTA Online — nice extras, and you get them anyway if you buy by November 19. If the preload is what you’re after, make sure there’s room for 212 GB first — an M.2 SSD with a heatsink for PS5 or a storage expansion card for Xbox Series X|S — and check when GTA 6 unlocks in your time zone.
Buy by November 19, park that ’55 Stanier somewhere sunny, and save the GTA+ month for the night you actually want it.
