About Hunting Game Notes
Who writes Hunting Game Notes
Hunting Game Notes is written by Kerry Woods for players who want to know how hunting games really work: why animals go where they go, what gives you away, and what happens after the shot.
What you’ll find here
Deep dives into hunting-game mechanics compared across games — animal routines, wind and scent, ballistics, blood trails, tracking, calling, dogs and trophies — plus news when something big happens to a game players love.
How we write
Articles draw on the games’ official guides, developer posts and patch notes, and long-standing community knowledge, with sources wherever facts matter. Game names and trademarks belong to their owners; we’re fans, not affiliated with any developer.
