Why we list products we don't necessarily own yet: a listing here is really an SEO traffic funnel — a way to test demand before committing to inventory. We add a range of products and see which ones actually pull search/social traffic, even for items that don't exist yet. If someone tries to buy one, we bounce the payment and say it's unavailable — but the attempted purchase itself is proof-of-sale: real evidence of what sells, not a guess. That signal is worth more than shipping a narrow, "safe" product set from day one.
